Frequently asked questions
Is there really a 14-day free trial?
Yes — no credit card, no commitment. Start monitoring in minutes and cancel any time before the trial ends. We never auto-charge you: if you decide to continue, we send you an invoice.
How are payments handled?
We invoice you monthly in CHF by email — a Swiss QR-Rechnung PDF you can scan with any e-banking app (UBS, PostFinance, Raiffeisen, etc.) or pay manually by IBAN. No credit-card processor, no online checkout.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no long-term contract. Cancel from your billing settings and you will not be charged again — you keep access until the end of the current month. After you cancel we keep your data for 30 days in case you come back, then it is permanently deleted. You can request export or earlier deletion anytime from your account or by writing to privacy@ojava.ch.
Where is my data stored?
Data is stored in the EU (Hetzner Frankfurt, Germany) — fully compliant with Swiss FADP/nDSG and GDPR. Swiss-only residency is on our roadmap for Enterprise customers.
Do you read my emails?
No. Ojava reads only metadata — sign-in logs, mailbox rules, OAuth grants, MFA challenges. We never download or store the content of your emails or files.
What happens if a critical alert fires at 3 AM?
We send a critical-priority email immediately. The dashboard updates in real time so anyone signed in sees it instantly.
Do I have to use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
You can use Ojava with either or both — and with the Windows endpoint agent on top. Until you connect a real account, demo mode lets you explore safely.
